Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club Wedding | Syracuse NY | Lexi + Joe

Some couples are just impossible not to fall in love with, and Lexi and Joe are absolutely one of those couples.

I said it after photographing their engagement session, and spending their entire wedding day with them only confirmed it—they are two of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Their happiness is contagious, and I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire day. In fact, I was still smiling during my two-hour drive home after their wedding!

Lexi and Joe’s Syracuse, NY wedding began with a beautiful traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Daniel’s Church before everyone headed to Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club to celebrate.

A Traditional Catholic Wedding Ceremony in Syracuse

Lexi and Joe exchanged their vows during a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Daniel’s Church in Syracuse, NY.

The church was absolutely stunning, but one of the first things that caught my attention was the enormous stained-glass windows behind the altar. They created such an incredible backdrop for the ceremony.

When the sun came through the stained glass, the entire space seemed to glow. It was beautiful to photograph and made an already meaningful ceremony feel even more special.

Surrounded by their family and friends, Lexi and Joe officially became husband and wife before we headed to their reception to continue the celebration.

Following the ceremony, we made our way to Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club for their wedding reception.

One of the best parts about having a Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club wedding is, of course, the waterfront setting. We took advantage of the beautiful scenery and spent some time along the lake creating portraits of Lexi and Joe before heading inside to join their guests.

After the more formal moments of the day, it was so much fun watching them relax, laugh together, and simply enjoy the fact that they were finally married.

And these two made my job incredibly easy.

Their connection is so natural, and the genuine happiness between them comes through in their photographs. Those are always some of my favorite wedding portraits—the ones that don’t just show what a couple looked like on their wedding day, but actually remind you how they felt.

Once the reception began, it was time to celebrate!

Lexi and Joe spent the rest of the evening surrounded by the people they love most, and the dance floor was the perfect ending to such a beautiful day.

From the stained-glass windows at St. Daniel’s Church to their lakefront portraits at Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club, there were so many beautiful moments to photograph throughout their Syracuse wedding day.

Lexi and Joe, thank you for trusting me to document both your engagement and your wedding. It was such a pleasure getting to know you both, and I am so grateful I was able to be there to capture this chapter of your story.
