Fall Family Session | Albany NY Family Photographer

One of my favorite parts of being an Albany NY family photographer is having the opportunity to photograph the same families year after year. There is something incredibly special about watching little ones grow up in front of my camera and capturing all of the different seasons of a family’s life.

I have been photographing this sweet family since their youngest was brand new, and I absolutely love that they continue to come back for family photos each year. Every session feels a little different. The kids get taller, their smiles change, and their personalities seem to get bigger—but the love and connection between them is always there.

When you’re in the middle of raising your children, it can feel like you have all the time in the world. Your days are filled with school, activities, practices, dinners, bedtime routines, and everything else that comes with family life.

And then suddenly, you look back at photographs from just a few years ago and wonder where those little faces went.

That’s why I love capturing more than just the traditional everyone-looking-at-the-camera family portrait. I want the photographs that show who your family is right now—the laughs, the hugs, the personalities, the connection, and even some of those wonderfully imperfect moments in between.
