A Beautiful Spring Wedding in Troy

Courtney and Steven’s wedding day started with bubbly and laughter at the Franklin Square Inn. Courtney is so fortunate to have amazing women in her life who all were able to provide her with support and laughter during a wedding day mishap that would have devastated most brides! But Courtney’s outlook and attitude was amazing and she had the attitude that nothing was going to ruin this day.

I enjoyed spending time with all of her ladies, with the time spent laughing and listening to stories. One of the things that one of her grandmothers said stuck with me. She said that when she was younger, she remembers having to go here and there all the time and was always busy. Now she just reads or watches Tv and she misses the busy days. That made me pause and think about the craziness of my life and it was a great reminder to just try and enjoy the craziness of some days, because as she said, I may look back and miss them someday.

The moment that Courtney made her entrance to her ceremony, it was to the song “I Get to Love You”, by Ruelle. She appeared at the door with her Dad just as the lyrics hit “I get to love you” and Steven got so teary eyed, as did some of the bridal party and guests as well. You could just feel the love in that room.

What an honor to be the one to capture their day! I loved getting celebrate alongside of them and document their wedding day. Enjoy some of my favorites!
