Sara and Ryan Engagement at Thachers Park

Sara and Ryan’s story started back in high school!! They knew each other since they were freshman, but didn’t start dating until Senior year.

Ryan proposed to Sara on Christmas Eve in 2021. It was their first Christmas in their new home. As they settled in for the evening, they decided to make tea and do their yearly tradition which started when they were both in high school of walking around the Christmas tree looking at all of the ornaments and telling stories about each one. This was special because now they got to do it in their own house, with theyr own tree. Almost rounding to the other side of the tree, there it was. A ring! The engagement ring was on a branch in their ” S & R” tree. Sarah didn’t believe it, until Ryan got down on one knee and asked her the famous question. “Will you marry me?” She didn’t respond, all she could do was laugh cry and hug Ryan, until finally he made her say yes!

Their engagement session was held at Thachers Park in Voorheesville. The sunset up there was to die for!!
