Michelle & Travis’ Romantic River Stone Manor Wedding | Scotia NY
From the moment I photographed Michelle and Travis for their engagement session, I had a feeling their wedding was going to be something special—and their beautiful River Stone Manor wedding in Glenville, NY definitely did not disappoint.
With its gorgeous property along the Mohawk River, beautiful grounds, and peaceful setting, River Stone Manor was the perfect backdrop for their romantic wedding day.
Getting Ready at River Stone Manor
Michelle and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in the house on the property. I love when couples are able to get ready right at their venue because it gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy those last few hours before the ceremony without worrying about traveling from one location to another.
The girls laughed, talked, and enjoyed their time together while getting ready, and Michelle was so calm and happy.
And she looked absolutely radiant!
A Beautiful Mohawk River Wedding Ceremony
One of the things that makes a River Stone Manor wedding so beautiful is the setting along the Mohawk River.
As the ceremony began, the sun was high above the trees, creating the prettiest soft glow across the property. When Michelle started walking down the aisle, Travis became emotional the moment he saw his bride coming toward him.
It was such a sweet reaction and one of those wedding-day moments I absolutely love capturing.
The entire ceremony felt almost magical. With the river behind them, the warm sunlight filtering through the trees, and wispy pollen floating through the air and catching the light, the scene looked like something straight out of a fairytale.
It was gorgeous!
Live Music for Their River Stone Manor Reception
Michelle and Travis chose to have live music throughout their celebration, with Monkberry handling everything from the bridal party’s processional to the music during their reception.
And they were incredible!
One of the most memorable moments of the evening happened when the band performed Perfect. The entire room seemed to stop and listen, and you could feel the emotion throughout the reception.
But the music wasn’t the only thing bringing out the tears that evening.
The Best Man’s speech was one I’ll remember for a long time. He somehow managed to combine stories about Michelle and Travis, humor, marriage advice, and some incredibly sentimental moments into one speech.
By the end, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room—including mine!
