Kyle & Niki’s Christmas-Themed Wedding at the Excelsior Event Center

I first met Niki and Kyle during their snowy engagement session last winter, and I knew instantly their wedding day was going to be something special. Kyle has the type of personality that keeps you laughing nonstop, and Niki is warm, kind, and soft-spoken — the sweetest balance. Being around the two of them feels effortless, so I’ve been looking forward to their wedding all year. And the fact that it was a Christmas-themed wedding at the beautiful Excelsior Event Center? Does it get any better than that?!

The Sweetest First Looks

The day began with some truly emotional moments. Niki shared a first look with her dad, who tried so hard to keep it together the moment he saw his daughter in her gown. It was tender, heartfelt, and such a beautiful start to the day.

Then came the prank.

Before Niki and Kyle had their official first look, Kyle’s brother surprised him with a fake one. Already filled with nerves, Kyle turned around expecting to see Niki… only to find his brother in a wedding dress. The entire room erupted into laughter, and honestly, it was the perfect tension-breaker. A moment of pure fun that helped ease Kyle’s jitters before the real moment.

When Kyle finally turned around to see Niki, all the emotion hit at once. Tears, smiles, and the kind of connection that makes you forget everyone else is even there. It was one of those moments that reminds you exactly why first looks are so special.

A Candlelit, Christmas-Inspired Ceremony

The ceremony space at the Excelsior Event Center was absolutely magical. Candles lined the aisle, Christmas lights sparkled throughout the room, and the soft glow created the most romantic holiday ambiance. It felt cozy, intimate, and completely perfect for a December celebration.

Surrounded by family, friends, and warm holiday light, Niki and Kyle were officially pronounced husband and wife.

A Festive Celebration to Remember

The fun continued into the reception, where each bridal party member made a memorable entrance that had everyone cheering. And when Kyle and Niki entered to “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” the room absolutely lit up. It was the perfect kickoff to a Christmas-themed party — festive, joyful, and full of energy.
