Merissa and Brett’s Engagement Session

We finally had a nice warm spring day for Merissa and Brett’s engagement session. They brought along Brett’s mom Darlene for assistance with the little ones. She was able to get their attention (who wouldn’t look with a big smile on their face when Grandma is calling to them?!) and take them to the playground when they were done with photos so that I could get a few of just Merissa and Brett by themselves. If you have little ones with you – bringing someone along, like a grandparent or favorite Aunt can make all the difference. Especially at the “stranger danger” age.

The Crossings at Colonie has so many different locations that are photo-worthy. I just love their event building with the big wrap around porch. It reminds me of a southern farm house.

The little ones had fun watching the fish, and turtle which popped up to say hi!

Congratulations to Merissa and Brett on their engagement, I am looking forward to their wedding in June!
