Excelsior Springs Event Center. Saratoga Springs

Emma and Tom’s wedding was an emotional day full of teary eyed moments! When I first arrived at the Courtyard Marriott next to the Excelsior Springs Event Center, I walked into total chaos, but it was a fun chaos. The ladies were finalizing getting ready, the little ones were playing happily together and everyone was just trying to relax nerves and enjoy the day.

Emma and Tom opted to have a first look (which I love). This gave them some time to see each other and settle nerves and have a moment alone before the craziness of the day. (… and their little one was so adorable as he watched his parents.)

Following the first look, we grabbed the whole wedding party and walked down to High Rock Park for family formals and bridal party photos. I was so thankful that we found a shady area as it was SO HOT!!!!!

Following a beautiful ceremony, guests danced the night away to music from Jake Allen.

I had to mention this part about the first look and emotions during the walk down the aisle. Some couples do not want a first look because they are afraid that the groom will not be as emotional watching his bride walk down the aisle during the ceremony.
