Love With a Little Edge
Some couples just have a chemistry you can feel—and these two absolutely had it.
From the moment we started their session, their connection was effortless. The way they looked at each other, pulled each other close, laughed together, and completely forgot about the camera made this session so much fun to photograph.
The abandoned train tracks were the perfect backdrop for them. A little rugged, a little unexpected, and full of character. Their tattoos and personal style fit the setting perfectly, giving the entire session a slightly edgy feel while still allowing their softer, more romantic side to come through.
And that contrast is what I loved most.
There were playful moments and plenty of laughter, but there were also those quiet, intense moments where I barely had to direct them at all. Sometimes you can simply see how much two people love each other in the way they naturally interact—and these two made that incredibly easy to capture.
I love when couples show up exactly as they are. You don’t need a fancy location, matching outfits, or perfectly planned poses to create beautiful photographs. Give me a location with some character, two people completely into each other, and some gorgeous light, and we can create a little magic.
This session was romantic, edgy, intimate, and completely them—and I loved every minute of it.
