Alex + Jesse

Juniper Springs Wedding Barn in Corinth, NY was the site for this gorgeous wedding. I first met Alex and Jesse for their country themed engagement session at their friends farm and I’ve been looking forward to this wedding. Juniper Springs is one of my favorite venues. It’s a scenic location with an amazing barn that is just phenomenal. I’ve photographed there a few times and Matt and his team are so great to work with!

Alex and Jesse’s wedding carried over the country theme with cowboy hats and boots and it was pure perfection. The colors in her bouquet matched the background, and the bridesmaids dresses matched the trees during the ceremony. It was spot on!!!

I loved meeting Alex’s sweet family and friends. I also loved meeting Jesse’s amazing outgoing crew. They knew how to laugh and not take things too seriously which I love. Laughter was in the air and everyone’s mood was light.

Alex had a first look with her Dad which was such a loving moment. You can see how much love he has for her. Following the first look with her Dad, it was time for her and Jesse’s first look. All of the stress of the day melted away as soon as they saw each other. That’s one of the reasons why I love first looks. Planning a wedding is stressful!! The year(s) of planning all leading up to this one day. You’re hoping that everything goes according to plan, but also knowing that it’s out of your hands at this point. But that moment when you get to see your person. When seeing each other on your wedding day, all dressed up and ready to say “I do”. That moment, all the stress leaves you. You know that no matter what, you’re getting married, and he’s by your side and everything is perfect. As soon as Jesse turned around and saw Alex, he gave her a big kiss. Both of them had huge smiles, as we led right into portraits. And of course with a first look, I get TONS of time with portraits which made good use of the grounds at Juniper Springs.

Alex and Jesse were married by Alex’s cousin who performed a few weddings for the family. I love how family members are now often getting involved in ceremonies. There’s nothing better than family.

Guests danced the night away to the amazing DJ duo, Eric Whin and Dillon Robbert who kept the dance floor hoping!
