Dan + Chandler

I just love Lake George weddings. The lake is so beautiful any time of year. Chandler and Dan were married at the beautiful Carriage House, which is a new addition to the Fort William Henry Resort and Conference Center. You know me, anything to do with history, I am drawn right in. And the Carriage House is full of history. It was originally built as an barn-like structure to house the horses and carriages used to transport guests from New York City to Lake George in the early 1900s. The Carriage House was transformed into a venue in 2022-2023 with stunning lake views which can hold up to 400 guests.

As soon as I walked into the Carriage House, I could smell the wood from all of the exposed beams, which I loved! It was very welcoming and reminds me of a cabin in wintertime.

Chandler and Dan were married by Dan’s cousin who performed a beautiful ceremony. The backdrop was picture perfect with scattered clouds against a brilliant blue sky and sailboats enjoying the last few days of summer.

I enjoyed listening to all of the speeches as Chandler and Dan’s dads and best friends spoke about each one of them. I love this part of every wedding. I love hearing the stories, I love capturing the laughter and the tears. Listening to everyone speak so highly of Chandler and Dan confirms my impression – they are just the sweetest and nicest human beings ever. Just being around them makes you smile.

Congratulations Chandler and Dan!!!! It was such a beautiful wedding celebration!!!
