Rip Van Winkle Country Club, Palenville, NY

This beautiful wedding took place at the Rip Van Winkle Country Club in the Catskills of Upstate NY overlooking a manicured golf course and the top of a mountain.

The ladies all got ready at the The Woodbine Inn, which was located a half mile from Rip Van Winkle, and was right in line with my style. I love old rustic charm; wooden floors that creak, wooden accents, so detailed, that are no longer incorporated into modern day buildings. We joked at the probability of it being haunted. But luckily, there were no haunted happenings that took place.

Jaime and Christopher opted to have a first look at the Country Club. Despite it being 90 degrees, they both looked gorgeous and you never could guess it was that hot from looking at their photos.

Together with their friends and family, they were married in a ceremony with perfect views of the golf course and mountains.

Their reception took place in the main hall at Rip Van Winkle Country Club and was set up to look like family’s dining room with dining room tables and china cabinets which gives it a homey, family celebration feel.

Jaime and Christopher – thank you for including me in your day, I enjoyed getting to know you both!! I wish you all the best and nothing but happiness.
